Hospitality · Melbourne, VIC, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

Cooking for people who eat with you every day is different from feeding a restaurant crowd. A respected care community in Melbourne wants a Head Chef to lead its kitchen, with creative freedom over seasonal menus and the chance to make residents' days better through good food.

You would plan menus around the seasons, residents' tastes and individual dietary and nutritional needs, cook balanced meals and serve them well, and keep food safety and hygiene at an excellent standard. Ordering, supplier requirements, stock, waste and the kitchen budget are yours to manage, and you would train and support a dedicated team. The role is permanent and full-time, and sponsorship is available to eligible applicants.

Show your Commercial Cookery qualification and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate on your CV, along with the dietary menus and kitchen budgets you have handled. Set up a care community head chef CV with Build AI CV before you apply.
