Head Chef

Visa sponsorship

Hospitality · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

Few openings come along like this one. A hospitality group with several award-winning restaurants is taking expressions of interest for the Head Chef of a new luxury Modern Japanese fine-dining restaurant in the Sydney CBD, due to open in mid 2027 in a prestigious new building.

An award-winning Japanese architect and master ceramic artisans are shaping the room, with bespoke ceramics and materials brought in from Japan. You would work beside the Executive Chef, a fourth-generation Japanese chef from Osaka, leading the brigade and building the restaurant's name. The group wants a confident, humble leader who treats every cook with dignity and respect and will not put up with bullying in the kitchen. Visa sponsorship is considered for exceptional international candidates.

Name the Japanese kitchens you have led, your sushi, robata or omakase work and the brigades you have built. Shape a Sydney Japanese fine-dining head chef CV with Build AI CV that does justice to that experience.
