Heavy Road Transport Mechanic

Visa sponsorship

Automotive · Brisbane, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · $68/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Trucks only make money when they are on the road, so a fleet workshop lives or dies by its mechanics. A growing Brisbane transport operator wants a qualified Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to keep its prime movers and multi-combination rigs safe, reliable and earning.

The workshop is purpose-built and the fleet is modern, and the work runs from planned servicing and inspections to engine, gearbox and driveline rebuilds, plus the odd breakdown call. You would work a structured local roster. Sponsorship is available for eligible overseas candidates.

Your CV should list your trade ticket, the truck makes and combinations you have worked on, the major rebuilds you have completed and your licence class. Spell out your prime mover rebuilds on a Build AI CV and keep it clear.
