Sushi skills are a must for this full-time Japanese Chef and Cook post at an izakaya-style restaurant and bar in Perth's northern suburbs. The business has just moved into a new home in a large shopping centre and its team is growing.
Service is split, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm and again from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm, and the kitchen turns out Japanese and fusion dishes at high volume. You would also help shape the menu and keep quality in check. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates, alongside room to grow your career.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook Japanese and fusion food, sushi included, through lunch and dinner
- Help develop the menu and check quality

Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 1 year in a Japanese restaurant
- Has worked as a sushi chef, all-rounder chef or cook
- Knows Japanese and fusion cooking well
- Can help with menu development and quality checks
- Background in upmarket, high-volume restaurants, with a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork and communication
