Maintenance Technician / Fitter
Visa sponsorship
Trade · Bundaberg, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · $85,000 - $95,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Fancy swapping the UK winter for Queensland? A vertically integrated horticultural business with a national presence in Australia is after a trade-qualified mechanical fitter for its packing facility in the Bundaberg region. It is an established firm that is still growing, and the vacancy is being handled by a recruiter that specialises in agriculture.
You would report to the Maintenance Supervisor as part of a small maintenance team, keeping the packing line machinery and the mechanical equipment around it serviced and repaired. The aim is fewer breakdowns, more dependable kit and a line that keeps running smoothly. During peak production you will need to be flexible about extra hours and the occasional Saturday, and at harvest there is some travel to help out with maintenance at another packing facility in the Northern Territory.
Visa sponsorship is available for suitably qualified candidates.
