Visa sponsorship

Automotive · Newcastle, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

Getting the diagnosis right first time is what this Newcastle workshop values most in the experienced Motor Mechanic it is hiring. The team works on engines, transmissions, steering and other mechanical systems, using computerised diagnostics and the manufacturer's specifications on every job.

Your week would mix servicing and tune-ups with strip-downs, rebuilds and roadworthiness checks, testing each repair before the car goes back to its owner. Qualifications, practical skill and experience are all checked during recruitment. Visa sponsorship is available for suitable candidates. Mechanics with a UK garage background will be comfortable with the mix.

Your CV should list the vehicle makes and systems you know best, your Certificate III or higher qualification and the diagnostic equipment you use. Prepare a diagnostics-focused mechanic CV with Build AI CV and apply.
