If you are a nurse in the UK with solid general practice experience, this one deserves a proper look. A family GP surgery in Dubbo, New South Wales, is recruiting a full-time Practice Nurse for Monday to Friday, to look after patients of all ages and carry out health assessments on home visits.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the doctor in the clinic's medical services
- Run the treatment room: stock, sterilisation and equipment maintenance
- Follow infection control and WHS practices
- Give clinical leadership to colleagues
- Triage patients
- Dress wounds; give childhood and adult immunisations and travel vaccinations
- Carry out corporate health checks, ECG, audiometry and spirometry
- Manage long-term conditions and complete age-appropriate and Indigenous health assessments
- Look after the cold chain and teach staff
- Take part in patient education and help the surgery meet accreditation standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration that is current, and the CPD points required
- A current Basic Life Support / CPR certificate, or an equivalent
- Working With Children Check
- Multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills, and strong written and verbal communication
- Certified Immuniser looked upon favourably
