Key Responsibilities
- Give each resident high-quality nursing shaped around them
- Give out medicines, watch how residents are doing and act quickly on any change or emergency
- Write, carry out and review individual care plans
- Lead and back up the care workers so standards stay high
- Keep clinical records accurate
- Talk clearly with residents, their relatives and other health workers
- Stick to the national quality standards for aged care and the home's clinical policies, and join improvement work and reviews
- Keep your knowledge current through continuing professional development
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Aged care experience of a minimum of six months' as an RN
- Clear spoken and written English
- Knowledge of AN-ACC funding and the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Intermediate computer skills and confidence using clinical documentation systems
- NDIS Worker Screening clearance (valid) and National Criminal History Check (current)
- Queensland driver's licence, valid
