Inverell, in the New England area of New South Wales, is home to the residential aged care service behind this full-time Registered Nurse role. The provider is not-for-profit and led by its values, and the shifts cover mornings, afternoons and nights.
Your job is safe, current clinical nursing within your scope of practice, in line with AHPRA requirements and aged care standards. You would work hand in hand with the Care Manager, the General Manager and the wider team so each resident gets high-quality, person-centred care. 482 visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out full assessments and collect health and care details from residents and families
- Help with admissions, ongoing reviews and care planning, writing and updating care plans
- Keep clinical notes accurate and on time
- Give direct clinical care when needed
- Handle medications safely, including ordering, storage and records
- Watch residents' health and act on any change in their condition
- Work with residents, families, carers, GPs and the team on good health outcomes
- Keep the home safe, respectful and person-centred, and join quality, compliance and improvement work
- Guide and mentor care staff on residents' clinical needs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Experience in, or knowledge of, residential aged care
- Strong skills in clinical assessment, medication management and documentation
- An understanding of aged care accreditation and compliance requirements, and of government standards for aged care delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working well in a multidisciplinary team
- A current National Criminal History Check, or the ability to obtain one
- A genuine passion for helping older people live with dignity, choice and respect
- Meet the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening
