Aged care nurses who enjoy the slower, more personal pace of a residential home might like this one. A not-for-profit organisation that runs aged care homes, home care and retirement villages across New South Wales is looking for a Registered Nurse to pick up casual shifts at its 72-bed home in Newcastle.
The focus is person-centred clinical care for older residents, including people living with dementia. You would be backed by an experienced leadership group and a corporate support team who know the sector well. Visa sponsorship will be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Eligibility
- Full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Post-graduate applications are welcome
- An affinity for and experience with residents who have dementia, or a willingness to build that experience
- Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills, as a highly motivated team player
- Availability for a range of shifts across various days
- Vaccination in line with the organisation's immunisation policy, including a TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine and the annual influenza jab
- Willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check and a pre-employment medical assessment
