Aged care nursing is the focus of this full-time post. A residential aged care provider in regional Western Australia wants Registered Nurses who genuinely enjoy working with older people and are ready to lead the clinical side of a caring team.
You would assess residents, act quickly when their health changes, give medicines and treatments, and write and update person-centred care plans together with residents and their families. Care staff will look to you for guidance, so confidence in wound and diabetes care counts. Visa sponsorship may be available for eligible Registered Nurses who are already living in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out clinical assessments and respond promptly when a resident's health or wellbeing changes
- Write, put into practice and review person-centred care plans with residents and their families
- Give medications and clinical treatments in line with professional standards
- Lead, mentor and guide the care staff on shift
- Work with GPs, allied health professionals and outside providers to coordinate each resident's care
- Keep clinical notes and reports accurate and up to date, including the paperwork behind AN-ACC assessments
- Meet the Aged Care Quality Standards and service policies, and take part in infection prevention, risk management and quality improvement work
Requirements & Eligibility
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- 2+ years' experience working as an RN in aged care (or equivalent)
- Strong clinical assessment and care coordination skills, with a sound grasp of medication systems
- Able to guide staff in wound and diabetes management
- Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
