Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, carry out and review residents' nursing care
- Give medications and keep watch over residents' health and wellbeing
- Draw up and deliver individual care plans with the multidisciplinary team
- Lead, guide and support the nursing team
- Talk clearly with residents, families and the wider team, and keep to the relevant laws, regulations and policies
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
- Currently residing in Australia (essential)
- Significant aged care or similar health-setting experience, with a minimum of 1 year
- Strong clinical skills in managing the many health needs of older adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, person-centred approach and a commitment to ongoing professional development
