Open-air dining, homestyle Italian food and a wine list worth exploring: this busy family-run trattoria in Cairns opens from breakfast until late, every day of the week. It wants a Restaurant Supervisor to lead the floor during service.
You would run shifts, look after the team and own the guest experience, with a clear path into management for the right person and the chance to pick up the business side as you go. This role is open to applicants already in Australia with full working rights. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Run the floor in service, handling bookings and table flow and staying in step with the kitchen
- Set service standards, keep them and coach the team as you go
- Make the wine list come alive with confident suggestions and pairings, and help train staff on it
- Lock up at night, including cash-up and the daily checklists
- Take on rosters, training, stock and orders as you build the skills of a manager
- Learn regulars' names and give new guests every reason to come back
- Pick up the business side of the restaurant along the way
Requirements & Eligibility
- Supervisory or senior floor experience in a busy, quality restaurant (ideally 2+ years)
- Solid wine knowledge: happy to talk styles, regions and food pairings, and keen to learn more
- A clear idea of great service and the habit of holding it on a big night
- A current Queensland RSA (and RMLV, or a willingness to complete it on the way to management)
- Available across a seven-day roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays, with full Australian working rights
