Sous Chef and Head Chef

Visa sponsorship

Hospitality · Wollongong, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

Good pizza dough and properly made pasta will get you noticed in this Wollongong kitchen. A professional hospitality business is hiring for one kitchen leader, either an established Head Chef or an experienced Sous Chef ready to step up, and Italian cuisine experience is highly valued.

The job goes well beyond cooking. You would set the standard for every plate, mentor the team, write menus and specials, control food costs and waste, manage ordering and suppliers and help with rosters, while jumping on the line when it gets busy. Weekends and rotating rosters are part of it. Candidates who require visa sponsorship may be considered subject to eligibility, and it is available for the successful applicant.

Say clearly on your CV whether you have run a kitchen or led as second in charge, and give examples of cost control. Draft a pizza and pasta kitchen leader CV with Build AI CV.
