Venue Manager

Hospitality · Brisbane, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored
If you have run a busy UK pub or restaurant and enjoy being on the floor rather than behind a desk, this full-time Venue Manager role in Brisbane is worth a look. A growing Queensland hospitality business wants a hands-on leader who sets the standard for service and keeps the place running smoothly at pace.
You would coach and develop staff, handle rosters and staffing levels, keep stock and ordering under control, resolve customer concerns and keep the venue clean and well presented. Watching performance, offering ideas for sales and growth, and controlling costs also come with the job, as does keeping health, safety and food safety in order. Evenings, weekends and public holidays are part of it. Eligible candidates may be considered for employer sponsorship, where applicable.
