One night it is a wedding, the next a gala dinner for three hundred. A Sydney events and hospitality company is growing its front-of-house team and taking on casual Waiter staff for functions across several venues.
The work suits people who like variety and stay cheerful when a room is full: laying up tables, serving courses on cue, clearing and resetting, and working closely with the kitchen and event crew. Relevant overseas hospitality experience may be considered for sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and give attentive, polished service for the whole event
- Set up tables, dining areas, function rooms and service stations
- Take food and drink orders accurately and serve promptly, watching for what guests need
- Clear and reset tables during and after each function
- Keep front of house clean and well presented
- Work with the kitchen, events and service teams so weddings, corporate dinners and private celebrations run smoothly
- Follow venue rules on hygiene, food safety, workplace safety and responsible service of alcohol
- Stay well presented and positive, adapting to each venue, event style and guest
Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous work in hospitality, waiting, functions or customer service is preferred
- Genuine interest in giving guests a great experience
- Confident speaking with people and good interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual and well groomed
- Comfortable in busy, fast-changing settings and working with kitchen and Front of House teams
- Available for evenings, weekends, public holidays and event-based shifts, and willing to work across multiple venues throughout New South Wales
- Current Australian RSA certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Appropriate Australian working rights where applicable
